The food and wine culture of Crete goes back to 3500 BC, with the earliest known civilisations of Europe — the Minoans. Join in this special event at Xanthi on 5 December as we celebrate all the glorious tastes that symbolise the warmth and wonder of Crete.
It also will be a special day, as we are joined by the relatives and survivors of the Battle of Crete to commemorate the courageous efforts of the ANZAC, Greek and Cretan troops.
With a collaboration of wines from Bloodwood in Orange and Lyrarakis in Crete, once again Australians and Cretans come together, matching it with food from your favourite Greek restaurant, Xanthi.
